Great Quote and Reason - Limbaugh

"The reason we support Rush in this is because we agree with his core point, that it is truly outrageous to obligate the American people to subsidize the private life of Ms. Fluke or anyone else."
Here is the link...

The Market Place Says - NO 2 Electric Cars!

Who would have thought it… consumers don't want a vehicle which has a 35 - 50 mile limit. Guess my co-workers and I could run long extension cords - We don't need to worry about the utilities usages not budgeted, or maybe we should insist the company install "vehicle charging stations"… after all, it is their responsibility, right?

Volt production frozen amid patchy EV sales

I want get into the fact any electricity used in this region originates from "fossil fuel", so if you do buy one of the cars to "save the planet", are you really?

Choices - Limbaugh

Though I disagree with word Limbaugh choose to use, I agree I shouldn't pay for anyone's life choices - Choice, when are we going to hold each other accountable?

Not taking responsibility for our own actions is a major problem and not holding others responsible for their choices is one of THE problems.

Let's take a speeding ticket, I had a good reason to speed or maybe I just felt it would be fun! But it was my life choice and like Fluke I should be able to do what I want at society's expense, right!

SSDD - Same Stuff Different Day

Is anyone surprised that North Korea is protesting South Korea's navel exercise? I question if the should get the satisfaction of being reported every single time...

The most recent threat, carried by the north’s state media, said Pyongyang’s forces would deal harshly with any threat proposed by Monday’s kickoff of annual South Korean-U.S. military drills that North Korea characterizes as a dress rehearsal to an invasion.

We (The US) Might Want to Denounce!

I know these threats from the north are a dime a dozen; however, they could also mean something - could lead to loss of life... especially, if there is no acknowledgment or consequences from the US!

A year ago Wednesday, North Korea launched an attack on the civilian island of Yeonpyeong, killing two marines and two civilians and shattering the sense of security that South Koreans had enjoyed for almost 60 years.
The island shelling came half a year after North Korea torpedoed a naval ship, the Cheonan, killing 46 sailors

Hero? Really?

Just curious if these are the goals you set for your children?
Taking LSD was a profound experience, one of the most important things in my life. LSD shows you that there's another side to the coin, and you can't remember it when it wears off, but you know it. It reinforced my sense of what was important--creating great things instead of making money, putting things back into the stream of history and of human consciousness as much as I could.
The suscess of Jobs is clear, but do you think he couldn't have done it without LSD? Really? ...I believe that without the drug it could have been done and possibly better and faster! I KNOW, the drug wasn't the reason for his success, and hope others realize that!

Memphis' Ties Record High Set in 1977

Memphis' Sunday temperature ties record high set in 1977 » The Commercial Appeal

If you believe the heat is due to "man-made climate change" and in no way is related to cycles in the weather - Please tell me what was going on in 1977...come on give it a shot!
When the thermometer hit 99 degrees at 1:53 p.m. at Memphis International Airport, it tied a record set in 1977.
How about fifty-eight years ago...you know when not every family even had a car, and if they did they had one...
On Wednesday, the high is expected to reach 97, which would tie the record set in 1953
Come on, I want to hear it - The Global Warming fanatics can tell me how and when we (human beings) will destroy the world, but they cannot explain why there are still record highs over 100 years old, nor can they accurately tell me what the weather is going to do tomorrow!

Though "our" US reporters show their desire for horrific and tragic stories as they report with frustration the lack of human debauchery in the wake of human suffering, there are several opinions why these reporters aren't getting the stories they desire - From culture, which is debatable just ask Koreans and Chinese who lived through the Japanese occupations of the past, to a one-for-all-all-for-one mentality. Don't Blame Oil Companies for Higher Gas Prices

Maybe a little economics 101 - Oil Companies have stockholders, possibly even you. The companies responsibility first is to the stockholders who invested in them, no not Billy Bob who they may have hired. ANY, increase in operational expense could cut what the INVESTORS get out of their investment...which could cause the stockholders to bolt putting the company in trouble and costing Billy Bob his job...

Merry Christmas

May everyone's Christmas be as good as a puppy's loves and as happy a child opening the precise present they wanted. Our prayer is that everyone remembers the "reason for the season", the greatest gift ever given (a Father's Son), and where the custom of giving and receiving at Christmas was started.

God gave us his Son knowing that our sin and us would kill him, he did this out of love.

The Son came to this world knowing that our sin would kill him, he did this out of love.

Upon the arrival of God's Son, gifts were brought to him out of honor and love for who He was and why He was here.

When we give and accept gifts let us remember this - Know that you are loved, because He came to this world to give His life for everyone and that includes YOU!

By the way, when I was out of work I didn't look for help keeping up with the Jones I "cowboy-ed up", set my goals, trusted God had a reason/plan & and "pursued MY right" to make MY life better - Depending on the government would have only left me and my family wanting - Ask the Smith!

Getting an IPad

If you are considering getting an IPad, you should read this article. Some excerpts: "By saying it’s only good at two things, what I’m really saying is that there are only two areas where it beats a standard PC at this point."

'civil war' within GOP - Yea right!

If the RNC would battle democrats the way they go after NON-establishment conservative contenders they would not keep BLOWING their opportunities to get power or use it when they get it!

I don't see a "civil war" I see constitutes speaking and their party not listening...same old Washington and IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE!

Something to Pray About

The comments to this digg article should make every Christian sad and give all something to pray about today at Church.

They will keep pushing until they are told enough is enough. Not to mention, I am sure we are supposed to keep our eye on this while they are doing something else - Like helping Iran with their nuclear program!

Tragedy - How Should We Help

First I want to say I feel for and will help anyway I can those affected by the flood; however, I must say I do get sick of our concentrating on the tragedy of natural acts as if they never happened before or they are an anomaly…

Though this post will be considered by many as “unsympathetic” or callous I would disagree and apply this description to every political leader or group who pounce on any natural tragedy as an opportunity to promote their agenda, gain more power, or both. I find it sad so many don’t see the media’s constant bombardment of “gloom and doom” as what it is – An effort to promote an agenda, to sway public opinion, to “tell you what you should think”!

This is the real “burr under my saddle” – Telling me what I should think! If you don’t accept their spoon feed crap you are tagged as “uncaring”. When in fact, I believe I and those like me are much more caring. Our goal in helping anyone is to help them in such a way that they feel they helped themselves, you know pride a sense of worth! Pride, that thing that I truly believe certain political groups prefer you not have because without a sense of worth there is no individualism and without individualism there is only “dependence”.

So I hope others will band together and help those affected to help themselves; however, as for me, the man sitting on the tailgate of his truck waiting for the government to swoop in and save him doesn’t need or want my help after all I already gave him his charity on April 15th…TAXES.

I want to help anyone in troubled by providing them a hammer and nails and teach them how to build, give them a fishing pole and teach ‘em how to fish, or help them get a job so a year from now they are still helping their family instead of waiting on our charity again…

Clothes are Next - :)

Pride, is it a bad thing – From a totally secular view point? Well, considering I was raised to look a man in the eye to speak or shake their hand – I have to say no I don’t think so.

However, let us look at more evidence though it is only based on opinion. When I drive around neighborhoods I know thirty or more years ago were nice and even new, they are rundown with houses in some cases that are nearly following down. Why is this? Could it be lack of pride? I do mark it up to laziness and lack of pride, which is pretty much.

You see when houses began being sold to people that couldn’t afford it, these “new owners” knew that they would either loose it or not be held accountable for the property, they didn’t care – They had no pride because they weren’t “in it for the long haul” and in many cases didn’t buy it with “their own money”… Now these dilapidated homes have nice cars in front of ‘em, cars I wouldn’t dare buy because I have a “house note” to make…

My question – Since we are now looking at ways to “give cars” away or lessen the expense to everyone - How will this depreciate the way the owners take care of ‘em.

Let’s put it to the test – My guess, in a few years now we will have house that are falling apart, with broken down cars in the drive way, but the people living and driving in these eye sores will have really nice clothes…

…that is till we start giving new clothes away!
