We Are Better Off!

Quick call the democrats and let them know they have been found wrong again!

Most Better Off Today Than 4 Years Ago
March 30, 2006--Fifty-five percent (55%) of Americans say they are better off today than they were four years ago.

Just Some 'Food for Thought' on Immigration

Just somethings you might want to read and think about on immigration -- if you are interested of course!

Patriots, Then and Now -- Peggy Noonan
What is the legend, the myth? That God made this a special place. That they're joining something special. That the streets are paved with more than gold--they're paved with the greatest thoughts man ever had, the greatest decisions he ever made, about how to live. We have free thought, free speech, freedom of worship. Look at the literature of the Republic: the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Federalist papers. Look at the great rich history, the courage and sacrifice, the house-raisings, the stubbornness. The Puritans, the Indians, the City on a Hill.
Whose Backlash? - Victor Davis Hanson
Americans recoil at the volatile ethnic enclaves in France and the Netherlands--and can understand how such tribalism could quickly escalate to sectarian violence in Iraq, the Balkans, and Rwanda. Unless we curb the present influx, return to the melting pot, and salvage a legal remedy from the present illegal disaster, what we saw this week may only be the beginning of something far more dangerous from both sides of this avoidable crisis.

Evil Military -- Does Something Else!

That evil US Military has gone and done something else -- something you will not read about in the MSM... Yep, you guessed it, it is/was a good thing -- what is the news in that?

Water Purifying Projects Completed Near Baghdad
(CNSNews.com) - Soldiers in Iraq last week completed a water treatment and storage project that provides purified water to residents of four communities north of Baghdad, according to the Department of Defense.
Never fear, the anti-war drones are out there and being negative about this too!
An anti-war group, however, questions the success of water facilities in Iraq. "I don't know what to believe about what the military says it's doing and all the wonderful work it's doing," said Art Dorland, the chairman of the Iraq Water Project, an offshoot of the group Veterans for Peace.

Law-abiding Citizens?

Here is something you will not see in the MSM. These 'law-abiding' citizens, who feel they must hide their face are such good citizens and love this country so much they not only fly another country's flag but fly our flag, the United States Flag, upside down and under the country's flag they actually love! Give me a break -- I am supposed to accept this as 'good for America'?

Vouchers - A Good Idea!

Here is some very interesting news and proves something many of us have known for years -- home schooling anyone or here is an idea vouchers, haven't I heard that somewhere before?

D.C.'s Distinction: $16,344 Per Student, But Only 12% Read Proficiently
The District of Columbia spends far more money per student in its public elementary and secondary schools each year than the tuition costs at many private elementary schools, or even college-preparatory secondary schools. Yet, District 8th-graders ranked dead last in 2005 in national reading and math tests.

Never Was a Good Idea!

National health service ain't such a hot idea -- at least to those that actually know... Wonder if they will be hearing about the success of foreign 'national health services' anytime soon?

Doctors opt to have private operations - Sunday Times - Times Online
Dr Sarah Burnett, a consultant radiologist in London who worked in the NHS for 15 years, said she took out private medical insurance while she was employed in the state service because she was unimpressed with the level of care she witnessed first hand. “NHS treatment is not a pleasant experience in any way — from the standard of the food, to ward cleanliness and the chance of catching MRSA,” she said.

Richard Belzer Compared

I guess you have heard, by now, the comments about our soldiers by Richard Belzer -- 'the Law and Order guy' on Real Time with Bill Maher! First let us look at some of his comments.
“Doesn't mean he's a brilliant scholar about the war because he's there.”
"It's this patronizing thing that people have about if you're against the war everyone's lumped together. You know, the soldiers are not scholars, they're not war experts."

Now we review the first sentence of Mr. Belzer's 'mini biography' from IMDb
A social misfit, was kicked out of every school he ever attended, due to his uncontrollable wit.
Now let's look at Wikipedia...
He unsuccessfully attended junior college and later enlisted in the Army. He soon realized it was a mistake and tried to get out.
Think there might be a little animosity towards the ARMY? Let face it -- the man was and is an idiot yet now with his 'supporting actor' status feels he knows more then all -- GIVE ME A BREAK!

American - Arab "Tells it Like She Sees It"

Take some time to view this video. You can see the transcript here -- some excerpts:
It is a clash between civilization and backwardness, between the civilized and the primitive, between barbarity and rationality.

More on Google Calendar!

Google calendar details leaked
While the product is still apparently well away from a launch, bloggers are excited about the possibility and are speculating whether the service is a prelude to bigger things for the company, and for online calendars.

Ruling for Military

There is still some support for the military. I personally agree with this ruling -- it amazes me that the liberals want to use the "withholding of federal funds" to enforce "their wants" but heaven forbid we use it to support our defense forces...
The nation's top law schools lost a significant legal argument on Monday when a unanimous Supreme Court ruled that the federal government could withhold funding from schools that bar military recruiters in protest of the anti-gay 'don't ask, don't tell' policy.

Could Air America be Gone?

It looks like the answer to that question is YES -- ah shucks!
AIR AMERICA TUNED OUT?
AIR America is close to losing its New York flagship station - knocking Al Franken and his liberal colleagues off the air on their second anniversary.
The network has a two-year lease with WLIB (AM 1190) that is reportedly set to expire April 1 - and at least one reliable report says it is 'extremely likely' the deal will not be renewed.

A Real Shame

Americans should be ashamed police have to be present to prevent protest at a military member's funeral... This proves there is good reason for the military restricting access to arriving coffins.

I don't care if the protest is from the left, the right -- for or against what the service member stands for...IT IS WRONG AND INDECENT!
