What do you think?  Think this Italian prosecutor is attempting to sway public opinion in either Italy, America, or both?  I believe it a good possibility!

U.S. soldier's indictment sought in Italy
ROME - Prosecutors have requested the indictment of a U.S. soldier over the shooting of an Italian intelligence agent at a checkpoint in Iraq last year, the ANSA news agency reported Monday.
