Senator Barbara Boxer joined Representative Stephanie Tubbs-Jones in a move to stop formal declaration of President Bush's second term.... Interesting Boxer used the "War in Iraq" to defend her grandstand action saying, "Our people are dying all over the world ... to bring democracy to the far corners of the world". Guess you can throw the "we are doing the right thing" card in when you need to support your stance, maybe get some fence sitters on your side even if we know it is disingenuous.
Newly elected Senator Barack Obama stated he would not be joining the effort - shows intelligence especially if he wants to win moderate republicans when he makes his much-touted presidential run. Read the story here.
