USA Today and FoxNews have stories about Shiite fighters turning in their weapons. This is great news and just another sign of progress in Iraq. I feel that this is a good sign and know it is a great morale boost for our military men and women.
My concern is how the democrats and anti-Bush crowd will spin the story. I am sure they are looking for away without regard for military morale, which has never been a concern of John Kerry demonstrated by his statement "Wrong War at Wrong Time".
